Memorial Day is right around the corner and you know what that means? Summer is almost here!

I’ve been cleaning out my closet in anticipation of my favorite 4 months of the year. My summer wardrobe is at least 2x the size of my fall/winter wardrobe because I just get so excited to dress for the warm weather.

The problem with my shopping habits is that they’re exactly that – habits. I have a difficult time branching out sometimes and often find my self re-buying the same pieces (hence the closet cleanout). I really wanted to find things this season that I could transition into summer and that I know I’d love next year, so I enlisted some help.

Have you heard of Stitch Fix? It’s an online styling service that’s perfect for anyone looking for a little styling help, doesn’t have as much time to shop, or is intimidated by the variety of options across so many retailers. It can be so tough to find things that fit your style!

I first heard of them because one of my best friends started working for them last year. She has amazing style and I would trust her any day of the week to pick out my clothes, so I knew I would be able to trust the stylist that picked me. I filled out a quick profile and they started sending me some pieces. You only keep what you like and you can change how frequently you get the pieces. So far I’ve loved several things I’ve been sent – especially this gorgeous Yumi Kim dress.

This is a perfect date night outfit for me this time of year. The sandals are low enough to allow us to walk home or go for a stroll after we eat and my favorite denim jacket that you guys have seen a lot of lately keeps me warm when it gets chillier at night.

MG and I met in the spring, so this time of year always reminds me of our first season of date nights after work and going to get milkshakes on our way home.
