As busy as this entire summer has been, it’s been so much fun to have this constant flow of things to look forward to. Week after week whether it’s dinner with friends I’ve been missing, another wedding celebrating a couple we love, a quick trip home to see my family or a weekend out of the city relaxing by the pool there’s been no shortage of happy things and that’s something I try to keep perspective on and not take for granted.

There are seasons where that’s not quite the case and in those times I’ve found it to be very important to focus on the little things that put a smile on your face everyday. I don’t know if you guys know this about me, but I actually work in email marketing for a company called Poppin! One of my favorite things about email marketing is the opportunity to put a smile on someone’s face and excite them.

There are a few brands that I always get excited to see their emails. Every morning at 10:30 a.m. our section of the office ooh’s and ahh’s over the Maple menu and we chat about lunchtime plans (a very important part of our day).

Over the past few months another brand recently popped up on my radar and I’ve grown to love their new shoe announcements. If you haven’t heard of M.Gemi, let me introduce you! They’re an Italian shoe company that’s bringing stylish and on trend shoes to you on a regular basis.
