I’ve been feeling under the weather for going on 3 weeks now … the absolute worst! It’s that time of year and so easy to pick something up, so I’ve found myself looking for easy ways to feel more put together while still wearing my tried and true favorites.  Sometimes it’s that extra little touch that makes you go from feeling boring and blah to pulled together. For me, it’s a swipe of lipstick or a pair of heels!

This summer I invested in a white blouse that I could wear time and time again. It’s a wardrobe staple that I’ve found myself grabbing out of closet for layering over, under and just by itself for a simple pulled together look. I also wanted to find a pair of leopard pumps that I could throw on instead of a usual black or nude heel.

This weekend was a very relaxing one! I spent most of it resting, but did get out to brunch a bit at The Dutch and Grey Dog – two places I’d definitely recommend to any other New Yorkers or visitors! Saturday was one of the prettiest days we’ve had since I moved here and was followed by a brisk and chilly Sunday. More updates on what I’ve been up to lately coming this week!
