I’m usually the type of person who wears the exact same makeup every single day. How boring right? I tend to get into a routine and just stick with it. Actually, I have daytime makeup and then if I’m going out I’ll wear a little more eyeshadow.. and that’s about it.

Something about the holiday season actually makes me want to try new things and experiment a little with more colors and tones. It’s one of the only times of the year where I think about and buy new makeup!

With my travel schedule this year, I’ve been looking more than ever for a one stop solution to eliminate having to feel like I’m traveling with all of the makeup I own to have different options. I like to only bring a few things with me but that will let me play a bit more for holiday parties.

Lancome recently launched a new palette that I’m head over heels for. It has the perfect mix of mattes and metallics and in shades that I love this time of year: mauve brown, deep navy, and a little cranberry shine. I like that in one palette I can lay the base of my eyeshadow, highlight my brows and fill in the crease if I want to do something a little smokier.
