Every now and then I find myself on the hunt for one piece in particular. This Fall there was a show on Bravo (can’t believe I’m admitting this out loud) that I found myself guiltily watching on Sunday nights mostly because it made me laugh, but also was based in LA and I liked the distinct style of the characters.
The main girl was a writer, but liked to dress a little more corporately and would wear cropped joggers just like this with heels and a blazer and I loved the unique twist and slightly edgier touch to what feels like a suit.
Last week I was struggling at the end of the week and ended up pulling these cropped joggers out for a more polished, downtown look. I can’t stop wearing them – they’re glorified sweatpants but the material makes them wearable during the daytime. I’m sure you’ve heard but Marissa Webb (an inspiration to me) moved over to Banana Republic and is shaking things up… and I’m loving it. Be sure to check out their new arrivals, she’s absolutely killing it.
P.S. – 40% Off your entire purchase at Banana Republic ends tomorrow (making these pants a no brainer!)
