Easter Sunday is one of my favorite days from growing up. We would always go to church and follow it up with a big celebratory brunch with all of our family friends (our relatives lived far away). I used to start at the dessert and work my way back to regular things like omelettes :).

Traditionally in a fashion sense you’re not “supposed” to wear white until Easter, so when I was little my mom would always let me pick out a cute dress because I loved nothing more than getting dressed up for that Sunday.

Fast forward to today and I still love getting dressed up for the day. I spotted this white dress a little while back and even though it was the dead of winter, I had to pick it up for the season. The ruffle detail is amazing and I love that it criss-crosses and is open in the back – perfect for those summer nights.

You’ve probably seen this little clutch on the blog before, but it’s one of my favorite things to grab and sometimes even use as a wallet if I need something slim and easy to carry. I actually gave one of my best friends one with her initials and she’s obsessed. How beautiful was this weekend? It finally feels like it should be easter and not still winter. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be gorgeous and I plan on soaking it up on a patio!
