Jacket: Bod & Christensen shearling, via Nordstrom (similar)  |  Dress: H&M sweater dress  |  Beanie: Urban Outfitters  |  Glasses: Tortoise & Blonde (c/o)  |  Socks: Forever 21 (similar)  |  Boots: Ariat Stanton boots  (c/o)  | Tights: Target (in S/M)

We had our second snowy day here in the Windy City and it was the perfect opportunity for me to break out my new Ariat boots. I have an underwhelming collection of footwear that is suitable for the weather here, and am always excited to find another pair in my size, so when Ariat reached out to me about sending me some I was ecstatic.

My favorite thing about the Stanton pair is that they’re not only waterproof (perfect for snowy days) but you can feel that they’re incredibly well made. My feet were comfortable and warm which is truly all I can ask for when I’m trudging through the snow. Now that the holiday lights are up all over the city, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! Pop on over to the Ariat facebook page – they are hosting a giveaway on their Facebook page for a lucky winner to receive a free pair of these fantastic boots. The winner will be announced on Monday 12/2, so keep checking in!

This Bod & Christensen coat may be my best purchase of all time. It’s the perfect shearling moto coat and just as warm as the boots so this snowy day really wasn’t that bad. I’ve finally figured out how to make the winters bearable!  PS – if you’re looking for tights for winter, these Target ones are my new favorite and will be a staple in my wardrobe. Thanks to my roomie for the recommendation!

I hope everyone is as ready for Thanksgiving as I am! :) Prayin for beautiful weather tomorrow, minimal airport hassle and big hugs from my family when I get back to Texas. Safe travels to you all!
