I love to live in maxi dresses during the summer – whether they’re bright and cheery like this one or simple and monochromatic, it’s my go to especially when the season really takes off and I’m busy week after week.
I picked up this dress at the beginning of the summer in anticipation of the warmer days that turn into sometimes steamy and humid nights. The cotton fabric is really lightweight and breezy (my favorite) and the fit was perfect for me in the bust and length wise. The front of the dress buttons so that you can decide how flowy you want it. We spent the weekend in Connecticut and after a few crazy weeks and with more to come on the horizon it was absolutely perfect. After a full day by the pool and another full day at the beach, I’m finally starting to see a little summer tan!
