Oh man, we’re back in it now aren’t we? The long weekend was truly well spent! We were in Martha’s Vineyard with some friends for the 4th. It was just my third trip to the island and one of my favorites of the summer. While we spent a lot of time at the house, a day on the boat and one day at the beach we also had a little time to explore and eat.
We had two nights out and about, one at The Port Hunter (the buffalo brussel sprouts were unreal) and on our last night we had dinner at The Atlantic. One of these trips I’m hoping we’ll get to wander even more because if you’ve ever been and enjoy walking or biking, it’s about the cutest place to do just that.
Last week I shared a colorful look for work in the summertime. Now that we’re hitting the 90 degree mark and back in the swing of things I’m still looking for light and breezy summer workwear ideas. I end up wearing white all of the time in the summer and this eyelet dress was no exception. The length is perfect for the office and the fit is flowy enough to work without it feeling like a ton of material.
I’m excited to catch up a bit on things so that I can soak up the next two weekends not traveling. Long walks after work and cocktails outdoors are at the top of my list! Speaking of lists, I updated my New York City bucket list after I was able to cross a few things off when my sister was in town – check it out if you’re looking for ideas this summer!
