If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know leopard is a print that took a little bit of growing on me. I started small with the skinniest belt you’ve ever seen, but since have expanded into other pieces and most recently these cute little Aerosoles wedges.

Tell-tale signs of getting older: wanting to be in bed by 10:30 at the latest and wanting to wear more comfortable shoes. People always used to look at me in 4” stilettos and say “one day you’ll stop wearing those and just want to be comfortable”. While I’m happy to say I’m not quite there yet (and don’t hope to be for a while), I definitely have shifted to a more comfortable but still stylish approach.

In the fall I gravitate towards camels and neutrals and find it more difficult to incorporate prints compared to my print-happy summer style. Leopard is the perfect complement to a fall palette – it’ll work with just about any shade. The color of the year is definitely shining this season in this little Henri Bendel number that has become my favorite sidekick. I added these leopard wedges to a very simple but still polished day-to-night look.

Sometimes I get stumped on what to pair leopard shoes with, but my go to is usually a black skirt like this one or skinny jeans to let the shoes do the talking. I’m always up for a good challenge and am excited to share that I’m a part of the Aerosoles style off contest! If you’re loving the look pop on over to their page and vote!
