Christmas is almost here and I’ve been running around like crazy trying to make sure I’m ready for it! We leave for Texas in the morning and had a packed weekend, so it’s really been a late night endeavor to finish all of my errands in time. I’m sure you guys can relate! I’ve needed to be able to run around after work before heading home and enduring whatever conditions – rain, wind or snow – that I’ll encounter.

I’ve had my eye on these booties since the very beginning of the fall. I went for a tan pair first, but finally caved and got them in black because I’ve found myself wishing I had something to pair with darker colors. They’re comfortable, give me just enough height for a casual day, and the pointed toe feels extra sleek. To be honest I’ve probably worn a variation of this outfit at least once a week lately! It’s simple and super comfortable – perfect for the quick mornings I’ve needed to have lately!

If you’re looking for some last minute gifts or just a treat for yourself, Nordstrom has plenty of booties that are under $100! If you’re looking for something a little more festive, these velvet booties come in 10 different colors and are a trendy little addition for the holidays and new year. My favorite is the burgundy!

For something a little more weather resistant and also a great gift, these duck booties are comfortable and easy to throw on for the elements.  Luckily I’m heading to warmer weather and home to my family tomorrow so I can leave my snow boots at home! Where are you headed for the holidays?
