I’ve been craving long coat style after seeing so many looks from friends and fellow bloggers — luckily for me it’s not hard to achieve the long coat style, I just have to go buy a regular coat :). Just kidding! Well, only a little.

When I’m hesitant to try something or know I might only like it for a season, I dabble in faster fashion on sites like ASOS still to fulfill my longing to help balance out my budget. I noticed via Instagram and some other friends that Forever 21 had a premium outerwear line this Fall/Winter that was really on point, so when looking for a coat to try out in this style I went to the one down the street.

I had something specific in mind and really want a great neutral, but I also love this army green wool coat and this gray version - I kept finding myself wanting something easy to throw on over a few layers and since buying it I’ve honestly been wearing it a ton. I love layering it with a super cozy scarf on days when I want to bundle up and keep it casual.

I’ve also fallen in love with these double sided studs that the sweet team at Sterling Forever sent me around the Holidays. The light gray color is perfect for throwing on with just about any outfit and they’re only $24. A must try!

I’m getting SO excited for this weekend, one of my best friends is in town and I can’t wait to have a fun New York City weekend with her. Hope you’re staying warm!
