I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for this week! I’m headed home on Wednesday for Thanksgiving and like most of you guys am looking forward to a relaxing and delicious feast on Thursday. Most importantly, I have a lot of exciting things waiting at home for me. My sister and her family just moved into their new house so it’ll be my first time staying with them, I get to hang out with my nephew (who is getting SO big! and has now started giving out little kisses), and my parents got a puppy! I can’t wait to meet her :).
Packing for Thanksgiving is always tough because the weekend somehow flies by, but I need to bring layers with me (not friendly on the carry-on suitcase situation). I have been wearing this windowpane short wrap coat from Jones New York regularly! It’s cozy and easy — two things that make getting dressed around this time of year incredibly helpful.
My favorite thing about the coat is that it can easily double as a cardigan and loose sweater or truly a coat that you can even layer over. I keep it extra casual when I travel and will definitely be wearing this on my trip back to Texas. Happy short week to you guys!
