It’s been rainy, dreary and cold the last week here in New York with more of the same to come this week rounding out the month. While my days you’ll find me in black, camel and white or some variation I took a bit of a colorful turn last week and loved letting my wardrobe brighten my days.
I’m not one to commit to colorful pieces usually, but this dress was the answer to my recent winter blues. This dress is as comfortable as it gets and was a welcome change to the jeans and pants I feel like I’ve been wearing for months. I love pairing longer dresses with booties in the winter, and this pair has more than gotten their wear this season.
This weekend was great – we just received a bunch of goodies for the apartment that I’ll be sharing soon and have been cooking things up in our apartment more often. Saturday we made a favorite pasta and then I headed to a fundraiser with MG’s sister Caitlin and her husband Fred. It’s always a special night and I was so happy that I was able to go.
We’re closing out February this week and I always like to reflect on my favorite highlight of the month – what was yours?
