December. You’re finally here! It doesn’t really feel like it’s you, but it sure does look like it’s you. The halls are decked all over the city and we’ve officially begun my favorite month of the year! I love the holiday season and everything about it: the music, the decor, the movies.. it’s just the best. Not to mention it all ends a week later with my birthday and a new year which is always a lot of fun!
The reason it doesn’t really feel like December is because of this glorious weather we’re basking in up here! It’s been in the 50’s and mostly sunny and beautiful leaving me so happy that I can ease my way into winter wear.
I’ve never been a culotte girl.. mostly because I didn’t think it was a style that petites could really pull off. During the Black Friday rush I decided to give a suede pair a try when I also picked up this adorable little plaid coat and a few other little things like this red sweater and a few pairs of these cozy flannel pajama pants. With a short coat and a chunky knit and a dark pair of pumps, this outfit is the perfect way to transition your fall staples to a more festive look.
This weekend was perfect! I got to see my best friend and her mom who were in town for a little mother-daughter weekend. She just got engaged a little over a week ago so I was so thrilled to see her in person and get some really exciting news, too! :) Hope you all had a wonderful one, happy Monday!
