OPI debuted it’s Texas Collection of nail polishes yesterday featuring an array of shades including 6 that are “sorbet-like” with true to Texas names. I can’t wait to try out ‘Big Hair… Big Nails’, ‘Don’t Mess with OPI’, and ‘San Tan-Tonio’ myself this spring! Not going to lie though, it’s a little pinkish/purpley for my tastes. I mean…. 6 shades that are basically variations of colors we already have seen? *Disappointment*. I would’ve loved to see some gorgeous reds and blues. The closest they got to that was a shimmery turquoise that has Jersey Shore written all over it. Oh well, I still think a few will be very pretty on and hopefully a nice surprise when I see them in person (it always makes a big difference).
I love that the behind the scenes video features western music, a tumbleweed and random fringe/suede. Outsider perspectives of Texans absolutely crack me up… no we don’t ride horses to school or all live on ranches. Which color are you most excited about?
