The first and only Madewell store in Chicago officially opened today and so we popped in tonight to check it out and of course, pick up a few things to break in the store properly :). It’s located in Gold Coast in the heart of one of the trendiest shopping areas in the city. The store itself feels very Soho compared to some of the other locations, which weirdly felt so familiar and made me a bit nostalgic since I wasn’t in New York for Fashion Week this February. Right now they have amazing wardrobe staples like button ups, skinny jean variations and some cute sweaters in addition to their Spring clothes. We were drooling over some of their dresses – one of which my friend Blair scooped up in yellow. I’m 100% positive that their Chambray shirt section will be the death of my wardrobe variety and bank account. I snagged a nautical striped mini skirt that I’m sure I’ll be living in this summer and a really cute bow ring that they magically had in a size 5. We loved the store & we love having Madewell here!
