A Slip Dress Under $100

everlane slip dress, everlane, petite dresses, mules

Earlier this summer I was looking for a fun alternative to my usual black, white and neutrals for a wedding that we were going to in June. I tend to gravitate towards color in the warmer months, and as you already know I’ve really been feeling shades of yellow recently.

I’ve been a fan of Everlane for years – I started shopping them back when I lived in Chicago and back when you had to wait what felt like forever for a product to finally arrive. I still wear my favorite sleeveless cami in olive (because they no longer have that color and it’s beautiful!) and over the years I’ve been expanding into other pieces to build out certain areas of my wardrobe.

You may know them for the newly launched products like their denim, or their loafers that everyone seems to have. I tend to gravitate towards things that you will never know are Everlane unless you know. Enter this dress: as I said I was on the hunt for something for a wedding and I haven’t been shying away from color this season.

I’m a big fan of slip dresses, too. I have scooped up a few in the last year for different occasions and because they’re so easy to layer. I stumbled upon this slip dress and once it arrived I was sold. The fit was absolutely perfect and the length (especially for a petite) was just right.

My favorite thing about this dress is the material. If you haven’t tried their go-weave fabric just yet, let me tell you it’s a game changer – especially if you’re going to be packing it in a suitcase. The material is wrinkle-resistant so even after hours in a suitcase I was able to hang it up and throw it on for the rehearsal dinner after we arrived.

I’m planning on keeping all of the yellow around into fall … are you with me?
