If you follow along with my adventures via Instagram, you may have noticed I was in Austin for ACL last weekend! Despite getting our 3rd day of the festival rained out (crazy flood pics, google ’em) I had a complete and total blast with some of my best friends. Austin is a city that I’ve already proclaimed I’ll live in someday, and it’s one of my favorite places to visit. The city has such a vibrant feel to it and such an amazing “soul”. It’s home to some of my absolute favorite restaurants, shops, and bars.
ACL was a whirlwind of fun … we got to listen to the likes of Muse, Jimmy Eat World, Lissie, Local Natives, Passion Pit, Kaskade, Kings of Leon, Haim and more. Saturday night it started pouring rain during Kings of Leon and so we did what normal people would do… put on our ponchos and started dancing! I had a fantastic time and most importantly enjoyed a few days with some of my dearest friends. We’ll be back next year, hopefully with no rain and all shine!
