Aldo x Julian Louie x Spring/Summer x Terry Richardson

I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for Spring! I have been looking forward to sharing this post for a while and the recent warm weather has finally paved a way for it. Back in February at the IFB Evolving Influence Conference at Fashion Week I was able to preview Aldo’s upcoming collaboration with Julian Louie and hear more about their upcoming Spring/Summer collection. The campaign is called “Life’s a Beach” and some of their Spring/Summer items have already hit their online shop. The ads for the campaign were shot by Terry Richardson and feature the always beautiful, Lily Donaldson.

Julian Louie collaborated on 2 designs of wedges that are killer (see Deanna and Sobeslava below). I had a chance to check the Julian Louie’s out in person at the conference, and I fell in love with the Deanna yellow/blue ones. Consider these already in my closet. We were also given a press kit to the campaign photos and the lookbook for the entire Spring/Summer collection and I wanted to share some of my favorites for Spring. Their collection will include women’s shoes, handbags, accessories, and men’s shoes. It was a much more difficult selection than I was anticipating but here are my Spring/Summer all-stars. I’m so incredibly excited to expand my wardrobe this spring and freshen it up. If there’s anything we saw on the runways in September it was that color is going to be in full effect this season. I can’t wait to see all of these babies in person!
