Neutral Essentials

neutral essentials, camel coat, fedora, over the knee boots, camel boots, leopard crossbody, bauble bar necklace, tortoise belt

As a bona fide “black clothes addict” I’ve been challenging myself to look for some more neutral hues. Neutral is a loose term to me.. and in the words of Jenna Lyons “as far as I’m concerned, leopard is a neutral.” I truthfully do not own enough neutral shades in my closet and have realized… it’s time for a change!

Shades of blush, tan, cream, tawny, tortoise and leopard are all things that define a neutral to me! I’m working on branching out and so I’ve widened my view of what I would consider to be something that easily pairs with other colors. I’m looking forward to layering coats with tan booties and pops of color underneath! What are your style habits?

Yes! I never regret buying my wool camel coat.

Love all these picks! I definitely need to do a better job of picking light neutrals. I always, always gravitate towards black!

I love neutrals Christine and they are so versatile to mix and match together, or with most other colours. They are sophisticated, modern and classic…..you can’t really go wrong.
