About a year ago I saw a photo in a magazine of Emmanuelle Alt in a white blazer, black skinnies and a t-shirt (basically her signature style) and ever since then have loved this overall look. It’s simple, but the right accessories make it standout from just a casual t-shirt and jeans. When I was browsing my friend Katie of Modern Eve’s new holiday gift guide site “to & from” I stumbled across a really cool brand that makes t-shirts of airport codes. Being the nomad that I am and with my previous job that allowed me to bop around all of the time, I have an open love for traveling and a secret love for airport-y things. When I discovered Pilot & Captain on Katie’s new site I knew I had to buy a few shirts and rep my favorite cities. So far I’ve only received CDG (Charles de Gaulle in Paris) and I absolutely love it. It’s super soft and I ordered a size up so that it was a littler baggier – I like my tees oversized :).

Ironically, this period of my life has been the slowest in terms of travel outside of going home to see my family.. but I do have an upcoming trip to Boston in the books that I’m getting very excited for! Also, I really think Pilot & Captain needs to come out with a Dallas shirt. I mean.. it would be “DFW” which is not only my home but doubles as my motto for this year – “down for whatever”. #justsaying I smell a hit. What other cities would you like to see?
