Black and white is one of those classic combinations that will never fail, no matter the season. Whether it’s a mostly white end of summer look like this one, or a “it’s the dead of winter” all black ensemble it’s always a solid choice. I’ve been trying to limit my shopping as of late until Fall really kicks it into high gear, but I cannot stop adding black and white items to my cart!
My affinity for vests just continues to grow and I finally landed a white one that fit the bill of what I’d been looking for. Even more exciting was that it was super inexpensive and looks like it’s worth 10x the price (p.s. it’s on clearance now if you can snag one before they sell out!). I have worn it with shorts for a polished and preppy look and most recently with this fit and flare skirt.
I blame this steamy, humid New York weather for my need to be sleeveless everyday. When you’re in the 75+% humidity range you really are left with one choice: wear less clothes. Haha, I’m just kidding (but not really). I’m headed to Chicago this week where it’s a bit cooler just in time to return to New York for my first ever Fall!
If you’ve been following along on Instagram you may have noticed that I was running around at a few things for Fashion Week.. more details to come soon!
