Like everyone else, I’m getting the itch for Spring. I so badly want to pull out some of my new pieces for Spring, but it’s tricky to work them in until the weather starts cooperating.  Layers have been my best friend!

I’m a huge Everlane fan and when I saw they released this luxe sleeveless sweater, I just had to scoop it up in this unique mustard color. I was dying to wear it even though it’s been cold, so I pulled out a pair of my favorite joggers from Anthropologie and layered on the coats for a walk to get coffee!

These pants are a bright and heart warming memory of last summer and a very special summer fashion show I co-hosted with Anthropologie. They also remind me of one the best summers of my life and the dear friends I’ve been missing back in Chicago so much as of late. It’s funny how clothes just like scents can be so closely tied to memories and stories, it’s one of the things I enjoy about style so much.

It’s been a while since they made it out of my closet due to the cold, and so in honor of the beginning of March and hopefully some warmer days I brought them out in hopes that mother nature would get the hint. Sometimes you really have to will things into existence, you know? So, Spring.. please come out and play and bring the sun with you!

Love the outfit! Nice print with color! How was the fit of Everlane top? I am 5″2 as well and was hasitate to buy their outfit worrying it will be too big.

Thank you Ann! I love it – it’s not meant to be a fitted shell but it’s not oversized, so I would go with the XS. I hope you get it!!

love those printed pants!! Hope you’re staying warm!

Lovely outfit, lovely background. The doorway and metalwork are so attractive. I like the way your outfit colours compliment your environs. I’ve noticed you use this technique quite a bit lately. Not sure if it is deliberate or coincidence, but it makes your photographers work very appealing. I hope spring arrives soon for you Christine.

Thanks Deb! We’ve been trying to find interesting backgrounds, which sometimes can be hard here in the city.. I’m glad you’re liking them!

Loving all the bright colors, especially those fab pants!!
